• All of our staff will be wearing face masks and ear string face masks are required of our guests as well. Your service will not be performed unless you have a face mask with you.
• We will be implementing social distancing in the salon. If other guests happen to be checking in/out, we may ask you to either wait outside or in another area until our guest services team is free to safely serve you.
• We also will not be allowed to serve any beverages due to the need to remove masks in order to drink them. Please do not bring outside food or beverages.
• If you have an appointment scheduled and are feeling flu-like symptoms or running a fever, or if you've been in contact with anyone who is sick, we ask that you delay your visit and let us help you reschedule for another time. You will not be charged.

A word from Lacey

Hair is my passion. I truly feel happiest when I am behind the chair creating beautiful art and making people feel good. I enjoy precision haircuts, trendy free-form styles, and creating beautiful custom color. I am a good listener and very compassionate. I understand the balance in cultivating trust in both hair and personal relationships with my clients. I started Lucky Lu’s in 2008 with only two chairs. Hard work does pay off, and I am now sharing my dream with such a wonderful group of people.

Darcey became my partner in 2011 and since then Lucky Lu’s has become even better! We are a great duo and we look forward to seeing Lucky Lu’s grow in an even more positive way for the future.

My son is my life and my inspiration. We usually are listening to old records and shopping for cool hats. I am a retro type of chick who enjoys fine wine, antiques and all things retro. I usually incorporate classic styling and barbering techniques in all of my hairstyling. Colorado and the Highlands area has been great to us. Thanks for supporting our amazing little salon!

I left a career in advertising to pursue my passion for hair and makeup, and I haven’t looked back since. Lacey and I take a lot of pride in our salon. We love owning a shop in the Highlands and hope to be here for many years to come.

I’m a Colorado native and proud of it. I love to hike and spend time outdoors. I like craft beer and cooking. I’m into landscape and interior design. I love my career. I’ve had a passion for hair since I was 13 years old. I am a people person who enjoys getting to know different people everyday. It’s a wonderful feeling to build relationships and trust with my clients. I bring my best foot forward knowing that the right color or cut can leave you feeling like you can conquer the world. My promise to my clients and myself, is to continue my education and make sure I am on top of my game and in tune with the new trends.

I started at Lucky Lu’s 7 years ago, and I find it to be a wonderful place to put my skills to work. It truly is a hair parlour for all. We are a humble salon with mad skills and fantastic customer service.

Outside of work, I love being with family. I have a daughter who I adore and have fun with. We enjoy listening to different music, hitting up museums, and pet-sitting our furry friends.

Creativity is number one in my book. My career has spanned many types of creative endeavors from drawing and painting, to graphic design, to jewelry making, to hair and makeup. Many people say, “Wow! You’ve really changed your career path.” But, what most people don’t realize is that all of this was much more of an expansion of my career path, and I still do most of these things today. Although each thing is a different creative medium, they are all very closely linked. All use the same techniques, thought processes, color theories, and trend assessments to create magic!

I feel so grateful to have been able to expand my career to where it is currently and to be able take all of my experiences to draw upon when creating someone’s next look. All of these things allow me to have in depth knowledge when it comes to color and an out-of-the box approach when it comes to cutting.
